Here are this weeks Bento Boxes that I sent with the Kid. First off let's start with Friday's.
Protein: Bacon, Cheese Pinwheels on a Wheat Flatbread and Pistachios
Veggies: Broccoli, Tomatoes
Fruit: Peaches, Cranraisins
Snacks: Goldfish Crackers & Rice, Fruit and Nut Bars
Extra for Roald Dalh Day was a piece of Willy Wonka candy.
Thursday's Lunch was Woodland Creatures. Never would I have imagined that the cheese squirrel would have melted all over the sweet peppers. I also didn't think temps would get into the 90's on a nice September day. SO, even though I know the kid has squirrel anger, I still used it and it caused a big mess in the box and all I got from the kid was, see I told you I don't like squirrels.
Protein: Peanut Butter Sandwich
Veggies: Sweet Peppers, Broccoli, Tomatoes
Fruit: Apple Sauce
Snacks: Goldfish Crackers & Rice, Fruit and Nut bars
Sweets: M & M's ( maybe 8, placed in a dipping sauce container)
Wednesday was a Bear / Animal day.
Protein: Peanut Butter Sandwich pocket, Babybel cheese, yogurt with sprinkles
Veggies: Carrots, Tomatoes, Broccoli
Sweets: M & Ms
Tuesday was Leftover Day
Pasta with cheese
Protein: Sausage links
Veggies: Sweet Peppers, Tomatoes and Broccoli
Sweets: Rice, Fruit & Nut bars, Panda cookies and 1 chocolate chip cookie ( which was not eaten and left as an after school snack)
Monday was the I Heart You box.
Protein: Peanut Butter sandwiches, Babybel Cheese
Veggies: Tomatoes, Sweet Peppers
Sweets: Rice, Fruit & Nut Bars and Panda Cookies
