Sparkle Mailbox for 18″ Dolls

We all know that our house loves American Girl Dolls, so for Valentine's Day this year we made them their own mailbox. This project was first featured in the American Girl Magazine back in 2013.

I found that Target has the tin mailbox again this year in the dollar section. The stand is a candle stick from the local craft store.

First, we painted the candle stick pink with acyrlic paint and while it was drying, I let my daughter decorate the box with all kinds of stickers. The rhinestone stickers are made using the Dazzling Diamond Sticker sheet from The Buckle Boutique.  I used my Cricut Cutter to cut out the heart shapes from the rhinestone vinyl. The Dazzling Diamond Sticker Sheets are easy to cut with scissors as well, that how we cut the strips used to bedazzle the edges and flag.

Once the shapes are cut, they are just like stickers, just peel off the backing and stick.

Crafters of all ages can use the rhinestone sticker sheets to bling up any project!

In my daughter's opinion everything is better when it sparkles.

I’ve got my mailbox and candlestick in a bag on the table. Just need to figure out where the husband put my paint….

Did you make these sunglasses for that doll? They’re so cute! I used to make pies for my barbies back in the day, but haven’t done anything since. I should really get back into it.
